Sunset in Biloxi

Sunset in Biloxi

by Christian Michael

May 27, 2016

I've been here a few weeks and I've said it before that one of the biggest differences between places isn't the people, but their skies. Skies are different everywhere you go. It's fascinating think about, and scientifically it makes sense. Factor the moisture content and composition, differences in soil content and the dust it creates which affects how the air holds moisture and, thus reflects the light from the sun at different times of day. Then you have the landscape itself and how it generally interacts with the sky ...

But ignore the science. They just look different. And boy howdy, ain't it grand?
