Old world still lives at Historic Pensacola Village

Old world still lives at Historic Pensacola Village

This block or so of historic Pensacola buildings gives a keen brief view of late 1800's into turn of the century 1900's Pensacola when Pensacola was a major economic player along the Gulfshores area (New Orleans to Panama City, essentially). The staff are friendly and are comprised of history grad students. Preserved and recreated buildings line the main street -- some are self tour, some are tour-only. It's a nice historical stop to learn more about Pensacola and late 1800's-early 1900's America. It was a good overall experience and fun!
