Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum a haunting homage to victims of domestic terror

Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum a haunting homage to victims of domestic terror

I was young but I remember the OKC bombing on TV and the sight of that building front being blown off and the firefighter holding the bloody little girl.

Taking the chance to stop by the museum, it was a powerful reminder of what hate can drive men to do. A fantastic, poignant and tasteful homage to the victims and survivors of the Murrah Federal Building bombing, it has an immersive quality that drives home how the incident affected both the people of Oklahoma City, the rest of the country and the entire world.

If anything, it reminded me that it's not the dead whom we should morn during tragedy, but those who survive.

Coupled with the beautiful outdoor park, this is definitely a must-see stop on your tour of Oklahoma's capital city.
