National Air and Space Museum for the love of the Wild Blue Yonder (and Star Trek)

I'd been here before some years ago, but I returned recently to see it again. Greeting me at the front door was the ORIGINAL Starship Enterprise used in the Original Series (see the photo). Otherwise, the museum is a large mix of ancient methods of flight and the study of it, space exploration, military aviation, air mail, commercial airlines and a great exhibit on the Wright Brothers. It's cool to see the original Spirit of St. Louis flown by Charles Lindbergh across the Atlantic Ocean suspended in the main hall near other wonders of flight. It's a great museum and worth taking half a day to wander through!
