Lincoln Memorial crowded but worth at least one visit

Lincoln Memorial crowded but worth at least one visit

by Christian Michael

December 22, 2018

My third time visiting, it's an interesting monument to see. Abraham Lincoln stares amidst classical columns toward the Washington Monument and onward to the US Capitol. Enshrined around him are his second inaugural address, Gettysburg Address and further quotes. I wish I could lament the selfie-drenched crowd if I wasn't among them. It's not a long visit unless you have a personal affinity for the history of Lincoln, himself. It's still worth the stop!
