Fort Worth Water Gardens boast interesting architecture, use of water

Apparently they filmed some of the final scenes of Logans Run here -- funny how far you can travel just to put something so small into a film. This little water garden is nestled near downtown Fort Worth and made for an interesting sight to see. With three different approaches to water -- falls, spray, silent pool and a large ... mound, thingy, it was definitely a departure from a typical park.

Built in a formerly infamous district of bars and brothels, the water garden offered a variety of environments to experience. If you were looking for some casual meditation, this would be the place for you. It even has a stage and grassy amphitheater which I assume are used for minor civic events. If you love architecture and places for contemplation, you should definitely check out the Fort Worth Water Gardens.
