Biloxi Visitors Center is small but highly informative

Biloxi Visitors Center is small but highly informative

Biloxi is a bit more diverse than you might think if you're not from the area, but proved to be a place full of history. If you're looking for things to do on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, this is the place to start your exploration of the area.

With videos and displays and examples of local art, it's a great launch pad into the history and culture of coastal Mississippi. I had no idea there were so many museums and art venues along the coast, and I've come here many times over the years.

Built in a new building across Highway 90 from the historical Biloxi Lighthouse and the beach, it's convenient to greater Biloxi and the rest of the Gulf Coast in either direction. The staff are friendly, engaging and informative. They serve free coffee in the front lounge. There was a wedding across the street and were other events going on in the proximity and they're currently adding to the property.

They do tours of the Biloxi Lighthouse (see other review) between 9-945. Though short and simple, it's pretty cool!

If you're looking for things to do on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, start your journey here!
