I headed into Denver early one night so I could have dinner with friends up the street at Jack-N-Grill. Driving from Aurora, you don't leave when you think you should -- you leave obscenely early and find somewhere to hang out nearby so the occasional 12-car pileup doesn't keep you from arriving on time.
Searching a nearby coffee shop, I landed on 2914 and walked from the parking lot. Easily spotted, I walked in and ordered a decaf in a mug and their only remaining cookie for the day -- I arrived the last hour. I liked how the light flowed into the spot. It was open but not empty, inviting but not closed-off cozy. I like cozy, but I also liked 2914's airy feel.
The barista on duty was polite and professional. The wifi worked just fine and I was able to work on my blog without interruption. If I ever head to that little nook of Denver again, I will definitely stop by.
